Chez Dominique

 This 33-year old California native comes to Chez Dominique with a long list of work experiences throughout the world. After graduating university with a double degree in both culinary arts and business, Ron has honed his skill and knowledge at some of the worlds most prestigious restaurants including Terra in St. Helena *star, The French Laundry *** star, Kitcho in Kyoto *** star, Tetsuyas’s in Sydney, the Fifth Floor in San Francicso * star and Chez Dominique in Helsinki ** star, just to name a few.

At the young age of 25, Ron became Chef de Cuisine of Terra Restaurant in the Napa Valley and within 5 months was awarded it’s first Michelin star which it still holds today. Never one to rest on his laurels, Ron was in search of a larger stage, a international stage where he could further develop into the next generation of Chefs, and Chez Dominique was the perfect place to do so. He has been Hans’ “right hand man” ever since.

Perspectives

Private corporations like Philips, Procter & Gamble, Nokia, ... are opening up innovation modalities, especially in the R&D phases. A number of companies are also looking to tap into the creative input at the market level. In parallel, public institutions in Denmark, in Finland, ... are exploring new collaboration models, empowering and engaging everyday people.

How can we define value, specifically in systems where co-creation is key?
Can value be defined upfront before engaging in the process?
How can sustainable and systemic input and value be measured?
Can co-creation offer new ways of increasing, sharing or rapidly creating value?
How do we provide people with the means and tools to create their own solutions?
